SEO would have taken far too long with a min. 3 to 6 month cycle to see any results on page one of Google for highly competitive search terms. Google Ads were the obvious choice, but the owners distrusted large agencies and had been mistreated by them in recent past with outrageously expensive management fees that did not allow the client to pay Google directly for advertising.
